Continuing its expansion outside the borders, IAU has opened a Persian culture and language office in Russia coinciding with the conclusion of an agreement with the Skolkovo Innovation Center.
According to an ISCA report, the Persian culture and language center began its activity with the presence of Iranian and Russian national officials and IAU authorities.
In the opening ceremony, Dr. Ebrahim Vasheghani Farahani, IAU Deputy of Research and Technology, welcomed the authorities and participants and stated that IAU is a pioneer in extending the Iranian culture and as an important language, the Persian Language has a long history in developing interactions among various groups.
In line with the emphasis of the Supreme Leader on developing languages besides English, he noted that IAU is also prepared to open a Russian Language Center in Iran.
Dr. Sanaei, the Iranian ambassador to Russia, explained that Iran’s readiness for participating in such activities is crucial and considered the launch of the center to signify a strategic cooperation between Iran and Russia.
The Iranian Culture & Persian Language Center operates through the cooperation of the IAU office in Moscow, general directorate of International affairs, and eCampus system in collaboration with Synergy University and will be offering basic, advanced, and technical language courses for Russian businessmen.
