Dr Samari spoke of IAU plans to register nanotechnology products internationally in the future.
According to Iran Student Correspondents Association (ISCA), Dr. Davoud Samari stated that IAU will be participating for the fourth time in the 9th International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition and presented 220 products from 54 academic units.
“We created the IAU Nano Development Committee and brought together prominent people, creating an entity analogous to the Nano Technology Initiative Council in the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, which is responsible for activities such as policy and implementation,” he noted.
Dr. Samari pointed to the activities of IAU in specializing in all nanotechnology fields. and explained, “this university has spearheadedmedical nanotechnology and we hope to form research teams and knowledge-based companies to create more diverse marketable nanotech products.”
He also emphasized the advances of IAU in nanotechnology and that “IAU-published papers in nanotechnology and the actual progress and development we see in the branches in the field clearly demonstrate significant improvements from previous years.”
According to the world latest statistics, Iran ranked 6th and is among the top 10 countries of the world in the field of nanotechnology.
